For custom work — yes. A 15–30 minute consultation lets us discuss references, agree on placement and sizing, and answer questions. Small flash pieces can be booked directly.
Get a full night's sleep, eat normally, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol and blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen). Skip intense workouts. Moisturise the tattoo area for a couple of days in advance. The complete checklist is in our preparation guide.
Loose, comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area without rubbing on it. Avoid white if you mind possible ink stains. Bring a layer — the studio is air-conditioned.
It depends on placement and personal tolerance. Thin-skin areas over bone (ribs, sternum, ankle) are usually the most intense. Fleshy areas (upper arm, thigh, calf) are mild for most people. We pause whenever you need.
Small minimalist pieces: 1–2 hours. Medium fine-line work: 3–4 hours. Larger blackwork and full sleeves are split across multiple sessions of 4–6 hours each.
One companion is welcome. During the session, they should not distract the artist or enter the sterile area. We ask that they stay quiet during line work and don't touch the tattoo area. Children under 16 cannot be in the studio while a session is in progress.
Yes — bring snacks and water. Short breaks every 45–60 minutes are normal on longer sessions. Don't try to push through hunger; low blood sugar makes the experience noticeably harder.
Leave the protective film on for 4–5 days. After it comes off, wash gently with warm water and unscented soap, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of the recommended cream 2–3 times a day. See our full aftercare guide for the complete routine.
Surface healing takes 1–2 weeks. Full deep healing — when the skin's structure has completely returned — is about a month. The tattoo's final appearance settles after that.
No swimming pools, baths, saunas or gyms for the first 2 weeks. Light walking is fine. After 2 weeks you can gradually return, avoiding direct friction on the tattoo for another week.
Pricing depends on size, complexity, placement and time required. Small pieces start at a base minimum; longer work is priced as half-day or full-day sessions. You'll get an exact quote after we discuss the design.
Yes — a small non-refundable deposit confirms your booking and is then deducted from the final price. The deposit is forfeited if you cancel less than 24 hours before the session or no-show.
Reschedule freely up to 24 hours before your session. Inside 24 hours the deposit is forfeited. Repeated no-shows may be asked to pay future bookings in full up front.
Cover-ups — yes, after a consultation to confirm the existing piece can be worked over. Touch-ups within 3 months of the original session are free; later touch-ups are charged at our standard hourly rate.
If you are more than 30 minutes late, the session is cancelled and the deposit is forfeited.
